Facia and Soffit Complete - Gutters Scheduled

A handyman named Tony who was referred by Mark Parsons completed the outside touchup of the house. Tony was able to do the following for us:

- Pressure wash the entire house, driveway and garage door

- Screen and box in an overhang area

- Replace/repair all bad soffit

- Replace all soffit vents with new PVC ones

- Install new lighting/remove old flood lighting

- Caulk all facia and soffit

- Paint all facia and soffit and window sills

- Paint the garage door

- Paint the repaired vehicle parking overhang

The outside of the house looks like new! Also, on Monday 10/27/08, A#1 Gutters will be coming out to put up new gutters for the front and side of the house. Linda’s original gutters were installed incorrectly and even fell down in a storm recently. (See the pictures on the main website)  http://www.lindashomemakeover.com/Before.html

In addition, the primer paint has already been donated by Brad Gross. He delivered several 5 gallon buckets to Linda a few days ago to begin priming the back three bedrooms. Linda has been working every day to remove carpet, patch holes, remove wallpaper and prepare the back three bedrooms and hallway to be painted. I will post pictures soon.

After the gutters are installed the outside of the house will be completely finished! (there is a possibility we will end up painting the outside of the house (which all paint would be donated as well!), but due to the budget right now we are not pursuing this option unless there are funds left over at the end.

Donations continue to come in to this project and every dollar is appreciated and can be used. Linda is beyond grateful and appreciates every generous gift. The testimonies alone have lifted her up.
